Sorry! I know I said I would post on the 20th, but I was BUSY.
So anyways... Midsummer is the celebration of the Summer solstice. It is also known as the longest day of the year. It is said to be one of the few times a year when the veils between the realms is thinnest. It is said this is the time when the fey come out and play. :D
So there 'ya go.
On to another subject...
This week was Circle school at the Loxley, and I taught(?) the second class. I had to teach a whole bunch of little kids about Air. It took me forevvveeeerrrr to figure out what I was going to do for the class, and then came the fateful day: Tuesday. Turns out, the didn't like either of my stories, but quite enjoyed my snack and pinwheel activity. And it was HOT all week. Today is the last day, and it's my mom's turn. She's teaching them about the moon. Hope all goes well for her tonight!
Okay now time for a secret! It's been slowly killing me that I can't talk about this on Facebook...
This weekend on Sunday, my grandparents (on Daddy's side) are coming to visit us. Then when they go back up on Wednesday, I'm going with them. ^_^ I'm going to spend 19 days in New Jersey, and possibly some in Vermont. I get to go to the Board walk, and the beach, the Mini-beach by their house.! I AM SO EXCITED. I also get to see one of my favorite cousins, who's two years older than me. She's awesome, and I don't get to see her too often, so this make it even better! XD
SO EXCITED!

Hi!
I got on to post today, but then got caught up in other things, and then decided to post after all when I found out that someone I don't know likes my blog! ^_^ This has made me extremely happy! And that was a runon sentence, but oh well...
Anywho, I think I'm going to demit to this assembly. I really like it, all the girls are super nice, and the adults in charge seem to care about the members, and not just the member count. I'm going to go to Grand the last week of June before I decide and submit the papers though. I'm looking foreward to wearing formal dresses again though. =D
Also, this weekend (the 19th) is Midsummer! I will be posting more about Midsummer, and our celebrations on the 20th. I made some REALLY AWESOME fairy wings for it, and am still working on my coustume, but I think it'll look good. I have also been voted 'Wing Queen', for some reason. Maybe because I've made three sets of wings so far, and each one has turned out really nice? i don;t know, but its a handy skill to have aquired!
I have also been catching up on my Circus skills. I'm getting pretty good at poi, but I still haven't mastered putting them all together as smothly as Panda. And I know that I'll get there, but I still can't help being impatient... = l
The Mominator is going to college! She had her COMPASS tests today, and she scored really well: 99 in reading, 92 in writing, and 32 in math. She expected to do badly in Math, but the instructor said she doesn't have to taka a remedial Math course. So YAY! She's really looking foreward to it~
So good for her! ^_^

One can only hope...

How are you? Me? Oh, I'm good, I suppose.
I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I meant to, really. But, I was too lazy, I guess. But! I'm posting now, so it does not really matter. :D
So, to the point.
Back in AZ, I used to be in Rainbow. I quit though, because the entire adult hierarchy was really screwed up. The adults didn't trust us to do anything for ourselves.
But now, in a different state, I'm going to try it again. I really enjoyed being Drill Leader, and dressing up, and memorizing the ritual. So, I'm going to go to meeting tonight, and HOPE TO EVERY DEITY I KNOW that its different out here.
Hey, at least I get to wear my favorite short dress. ^-^
